Natascha & Philip // Eaves Hall Wedding Film

Why did you pick Eaves Hall as your wedding venue and what makes it special to you?

We were drawn to the Ribble Valley because it’s so beautiful and peaceful, we love being outdoors. We had visited a couple of other venues before we went to Eaves Hall. The moment we stepped inside we both looked at each other and knew- we both got a feeling which I can’t describe. The building and grounds are stunning! We love the features and decor, and love how everything is in one place including accommodation.

How did you meet each other?

I worked with Phil’s sister; Angela. Phil and I became single around the same time, so Angela suggested we meet each other; she said we would be a good match……. She was right! Angela is doing a reading at our ceremony which means a lot to both of us.

How about the proposal? Tell us everything!

We had a child free weekend coming up, so we were looking for somewhere to go and get away. Phil found and booked a beautiful boutique hotel in Windermere. On the day we were leaving he was acting a bit strange, so I had my suspicions! We got to the hotel and had a soak in the hot tub whilst drinking champagne. We had booked a meal in the restaurant for 7pm, and Phil asked me to be ready for 6.45pm (very specific!) At 6.45pm he told me he had loved me from the moment we met; plus some other lovely words; then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a beautiful moment just us two, then we celebrated with a meal which we struggled to eat as we were both so overwhelmed!

What part of the wedding event is the most important to you?

The ceremony…….We want to make the special commitment to one another in front of our family and friends. I’ll finally be a Clough and share the same name as Phil, Isla and Philip’s children; Ben and Olivia. I can’t wait to be part of the club!

In terms of style, look and feel … how would you summarise your wedding?

Hollywood glam, romantic and emotional!
